The use of hot stones in your massage can be dated back almost 5,000 years!
Hot stone massages offer many benefits: relaxation, stress release, help with back pain, and improvements to depression or anxiety. This practice is widely known to help reduce muscle spasms.
Ideally, you should have a hot stone massage one to two times per week. People with chronic pain or intense physical activities should consider more sessions to alleviate their pain.

Hand & Foot Paraffin Treatment
No matter the weather outside, be it the cold northern winters or the dry and hot summers, our hands and feet pay dearly from the elements! This 60 minute treatment is designed to relax, hydrate, and soften our overworked and underappreciated skin.
To start, you will receive a foot massage, immediately following, we will wrap your feet in hot and soothing paraffin wax, which is then topped with a foot warmer. This is great for aches and pains of the muscles and the joints!

Next we will focus on your hands and arms with massage, essential oils, and creams to work into your skin and muscles. Your hands will then be wrapped in the paraffin wax, and topped with hand warmers.

The Paraffin Hand and Foot Treatment can be added on to any facial or body service or booked by itself!

Reflexology is a type of therapy that uses gentle pressure on specific points along your feet, hands, and sometimes ears, and it's also known as Zone Therapy.
This is a massage technique that puts pressure on various reflex points to help you feel better. This pointed pressure eases stress, in turn helping your body to work better. This happens due to these points correlating to different body parts and massaging the points can help to relieve symptoms in other areas of the body.

Aromatherapy
During your massage or other body treatments, the addition of this addon involves using natural plant extracts to stimulate your sense of smell, promoting your health and well-being.
Scents take a direct route to the limbic system, home to the Olfactory bulb, which is in the same regions related to emotion and past thoughts. This is why smells can so often trigger vivid memories as far back as our young childhoods!

The benefits of this added stimulation during your service include: deeper relaxation, subconscious happiness and/or calmness due to remembering the emotions caused by past memories, can reduce nausea, can reduce headaches, can reduce hunger, and can greatly reduce any anxiousness.
